Secret Gardens of Oxton Village 2002 Sunday May 12th 2002 saw the second running of the secret Gardens of  Oxton Village event. This had been run for the first time in 2001 when it attracted hundreds of visitors who spent their afternoon viewing some of the gardens at the top of Rose Mount and down Mount pleasant. The event is organised by the Oxton Society in order to raise money for the Society and local charities. The 2002 event was held to raise money for the Claire House appeal as well as for the Society funds.

	Where was that then ??? ... Pictures of monsters warned us of the dangers facing us as we travelled on our journey round some of the secret gardens... on my second trip round I tried to pick out some of the more unusual features of the gardens ... did you spot any of these on your trips round the gardens.
