Welcome
to the Oxton Village Website
On this page you will find details on how to get to Oxton plus
information about what you will find once you get here. There are links to
pages containing contact information for all of the traders located in and
around the village together with information on Public Houses in Oxton and
the Churches that serve the area.
This site was originally developed and maintained by myself when I was resident
in Oxton. After leaving the village at the start of 2005 the site has been
left as a local source of information. There are still opportunities open
for local businesses and traders to have pages set up within the site. For
more information email me on webhost@oxtonvillage.com.
The site is divided into the following main sections
| This section contains information on how to get to Oxton and what you'll find once you get here. There are also details on all the traders in the village. | ![]() |
|
| A collection of pictures taken over the years around the village. | ||
| This page contains details and links to events that are taking place in and around Oxton. | ||
| The Oxton Society is a registered charity that was set up when Oxton was designated a conservation area. This section of the site gives information both on what the Society does and also details on events that they organise | ||
| This is a highly successful annual event in the village which is run by the Oxton Society. | ||
| Ran for the first time in December 2004 and will hopefully become an annual event in the village, giving the opportunity for local artists to display their talents. | ||
| When I first set up the site I produced a monthly diary, although I have now stopped doing this the pages will remain as they give a good idea what was going on around the village over a number of years. | ||
| A page containing links to a number of previously covered topics and subject on the site. | ||
| Links to pages with a local theme and other useful sites. |
