Continuing on down Claughton Firs (foreground) can be seen the roofs of the flats and shops in the road. On the right hand side is The Village Greens shop and the shops at the top of Christchurch Road. Looking into the distance diagonally out from the centre raising to the left hand side is a row of white houses in Poplar Road. This Picture gives a good indication of the number of trees in the village.
